Hand of Grandfather,  a weekly one hour radio program, offers an eclectic mix

of American Indian/Canadian First Nations music including historical, peyote, powwow (Southern & Northern drums), flutes, traditional and contemporary music (including jazz, rock, blues, country and techno) as well as children's music, humor, soundtracks and legends told by traditional storytellers.

     All artists are tribally affiliated.

                               

      Arlie Kendall (Anishinaabe) produces and hosts Hand of            Grandfather, originally launched as a radio program in October 2000 on KYGT (K-Goat)  in Idaho Springs, Colorado.

  

       In May of 2002, Hand of Grandfather makes it to the national airwaves on XM Satellite Radio on the Fine Tuning channel ....

  ... making it the FIRST program of its kind on XM!
